my research:
My research interests focus primarily on interpretive analysis of interaction between people from different cultural backgrounds who are working, studying, and/or living together in communities. My work includes both cross-cultural comparisons and examination of participants’ perceptions of intercultural interactions. I am interested in intercultural interaction in a variety of settings, including the communities of the classroom, the workplace, the neighborhood, and other organizations. My purpose is to develop a better understanding of how people with diverse backgrounds can work together and value one another in a manner that is positive and productive for both individuals and organizations.
